Our International team consists of young practitioners from different countries and with different backgrounds.
Gayk Ayvazyan LL.M. – is an international lawyer, a graduate of the University of Tilburg, (major in European Law) and the Law school of Singapore Management University. Gayk obtained his LL.M. degree at the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) in “Internal Trade and Investment Law”. Currently works as a corporate lawyer in Amsterdam (NL). His main fields of interests are politics, international law and international trade.
Tim Hagemann studied International Law, Economics and Chinese Studies at the Universities in Tuebingen, Beijing and Aix-en-Provence. He holds a Maitrise en Droit (cum laude) degree in European and International Law from Aix-Marseille University and currently pursues his first State Examination in Germany with a specialization in international public and economic law. His special field of interest revolves around the legal implications of international law on foreign policy and diplomatic relations.
Vanand Meliksetian LL.M. – is an international lawyer, a graduate in “Law and Politics of International Security” (Vrije Universiteit,Amsterdam,NL). Currently works at European Power Exchange in Amsterdam (European Energy Market).
Marcel André Thomkins
Marcel Thomkins is a Political Economist who focuses on questions of International Relations, Macroeconomic Policy and Economic Development in Emerging Markets. After graduating in Economics and East Asia Studies at Tuebingen University, Marcel pursued the Political Economy postgraduate programme at King`s College London. Specifically, he is interested in the Middle East and East Asia regions both for the implications of economic and political developments here on other markets, but also for possible “best practices” in development and state building, that could be adapted in other contexts.
